MailScan - Troubleshooting
Q. In Mailscan for Exchange (installed in Gateway mode) - Raspop logs does not get created in the Windows 2008 (64bit-OS)
Solution:
1. Download the Raspop.zip. (Click here to download the Raspop.zip)
2. Extract the Raspop.exe from Raspop.zip to the C:\ drive
Then follow the below mentioned steps:
- Goto the Command prompt. Start>>Run>>Cmd.
- Goto C:\Program file(x86)\mailscan folder.
- Type the command
killproc raspop.exe and press Enter.
- Rename the file raspop.exe to raspop.old
- Copy the new raspop.exe from the C:\ drive to the C:\Program file(x86)\mailscan folder.
- Then restart the machine and check the log files after downloading the mails by raspop.
