-eScan is an all-purpose application for protecting data on the local network of an organization. The application ensures protection against viruses and malware, unknown threats and fraud, and allows you to control startup of applications by users and their access to devices and web resources.+eScan Corporate is a comprehensive anti-virus and information security solution that effectively provides Zero-Day Protection to both servers and endpoints. eScan Management Console (EMC) includes a Secure Web Interface that facilitates dynamic security management of the server and endpoints in the corporate network. It consists of a web based centralized Management Console that helps the administrator to install and manage eScan Corporate 360 Client on Windows, Linux, Mac machines and Android devices connected to the network.
-<b>Let us find out what are the upcoming features</b>
<b>What's new in the application?</b> <b>What's new in the application?</b>
-<b>• Wake-On-Lan for Schedule Scan:</b>+<b>• Single Update agent for Multiple Groups</b>
-The ability to perform almost all tasks in the client computers from a remote location had been a biggest boon to Administrators. eScan makes it possible to schedule full scan at specific time. Some clients miss the scheduled tasks because they may be turned off by the users. Turning on every computer manually is a tough task. This new feature helps an administrator to schedule a scan by waking a system by using Wake-on-Lan feature.+::Update Agents will reduce the traffic between the eScan Corporate Server and client. eScan will allow multiple managed groups to take updates from one update agent. It can be any client computer connected to the network. One single Update agent will take updates from the eScan Corporate Server and distribute to the client machines under the assigned managed groups.
 +<b>• Customized Setup</b>
-<b>• One Time Password ( OTP )</b>+::Customized Setup will allow you to create a customized setup for a particular Windows client machine. You can define the settings for a customized setup; It will allow you to define the customized settings for File antivirus, mail antivirus, antispam, Firewall, endpoint security , Privacy control, Client Installation Settings, Update Intervals, exclude/ remove download files. Administrator can define the customized settings for Linux agents; it will allow you to define the settings for the server from where the updates are to be downloaded.
-eScan password protection restricts user access from violating a security policy deployed in a network. e.g. administrator has deployed a security policy to block all USB devices, but someone wants to access it for genuine reason. How would an administrator give him an access without violating the current security policy? OTP delivers the answer for the same by generating one time password for a period of time like 10 minute or one hour for that specified user to disable the module without violating existing policy.+<b>• Delete all quarantined files</b>
-<b>• Document Printing Events:</b>+::Delete all quarantined files this option will allow the administrator to directly delete all the quarantined files from the client machine.
-Would you like to find out what and when a print job was carried out in your corporate network? May be you would like to keep track of the printing load in your local network? May be someone can send a print task while you are away and you won't even spot those several pages printed? You simply need printer management software to help you keep tabs on what is going on with your printing queue!. eScan goes one step ahead and record all the printing activity and send the events to eScan centralized console, so an administrator can catch hold of the users who are giving non productive print outs, and save costs involved.+<b>• Update agent for Linux Clients</b>
-<b>• Event Caching for offline endpoints:</b>+::Linux clients can now download the signature updates directly from the Update agents. The update agent will download the updates from the eScan Server and share it with the Linux clients.
-Many times corporate users carry laptops to home for completing the projects given. It opens up the security loophole where an administrator cannot control that users activity from centralized location. In these kind of scenarios, this feature cache the events like virus found, web site visited, application opened etc. and once this laptop is back in the network these events are sent back to the eScan centralized server to help an administrator to take proactive decision.+<b>• Schedule Updates for Linux</b>
-<b>• New computer found:</b>+::You can create a schedule to download the Signature updates on your Linux machines. You can schedule the downloads to happen once/ hourly/ daily/ weekly/monthly basis. You can also schedule for an automatic download of updates.
-It is very difficult for an administrator of a large enterprise, to find out new computers added in his network to deploy a security policy. This feature helps him to find out the new computers being added in his network. So that he can easily manage that computer and deploy the security policies.+<b>• Scan Report</b>
-<b>What's Improved?</b>+::Scan Report is a type of report template that will display the scan report conducted over a defined period of time for the managed endpoints.
-<b>• Firefox and other browsers support:</b>+<b>• Hardware Report</b>
-Previously, eScan Management console was only supported with Internet Explorer 6 and above versions. Now it is compatible with Firefox and other browsers on windows as well as Linux operating systems.+::Hardware report is a type of report template that will display the hardware report of the selected managed endpoints over a defined time period. This report will include details such as computer name, group name, IP address & user name, operating system, Service pack installed, OS version, processor details etc.
-<b>• Time Synchronization for Application control and Web protection:</b>+<b>• Software Report</b>
-Once the security policy is set for Application control and Web protection to access it within a particular span of time. Users use to change the system time to negate the policy and use to access the web sites or applications. This feature will record the time when these kind of policies are set, and if any user change his system time it will again be synchronized and the applications and web sites will be blocked as defined.+::Software report is a type of software report that will display the software report of the selected managed endpoints over a defined time period. This will display the HOST name/IP address of the system and the list of the softwares installed and the date of installation.
-<b>• USB Modem blocking:</b>+<b>• Uninstall Password</b>
+::eScan will prompt for a password for uninstallation of eScan. The administrator will set the password for the client machines so that a normal user will not be able to uninstall eScan from the client machine without this password.
-Now days USB Internet Modems, which provides faster internet connection can be brought in by user and can take access of an internet connection. This kind of USB Modems can be blocked by using this feature.+<b>• Policy Criteria</b>
 +
+::Policy Criteria will allow you to deploy policies on an endpoint automatically if it complies with the pre-defined criteria in the management console. Administrator can define two types of policy criteria.

 +<li>Management Server connection</li>
 +<li>Computer IP address</li>
